Agency Yu, Inc. was founded in 2002, as an individually owned independent agency operating under the Barhorst Insurance Group now known as Iscential. Through the hard work of our staff and associates Agency Yu, Inc. has become the largest independently owned location of Iscential. In addition, Agency Yu, Inc. has been recognized by Iscential , Nationwide Insurance Company, PURE Insurance, Cincinnati Insurance Company and other insurance carriers for superior customer service, sales and profitability.

Meet Leash:
Leash is the president and CEO of Agency Yu. Agency Yu is one of the largest business producers in the Houston area. Leash graduated from Texas A&M University. He continues to be an example of perseverance and patience for his employees (which is key ingredient in the insurance world) . He has been married for 28 years, and is father to two amazing young ladies! He lives out his faith with no fear, and continues to inspire everyone around him.
Meet Wendy:
Behind every great man is an amazing woman! My name is Wendy! Leash and I have been married for 28 wonderful years. I am a mother to two beautiful girls, Lily and Coco. I am a lover of Jesus, art and tennis. I also enjoy spending time with my loving family and traveling.

Meet Fraser:
My name is Fraser. I started working at Agency Yu in June 2020. I graduated from LSU in 2015. I was born in New Orleans but grew up in Lake Charles. I am a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. In my free time I like to spend time with my wife Ashley, travel and go to LSU football games. Geaux Tigers!
Meet Christina:
Hi! My name is Christina! I have been working in the insurance business since 1999, and I joined Agency Yu November 2005. I was born in Arizona and lived in Mexico, before moving to Houston at the age of 13. I am married and a mother of two! I enjoy reading, playing tennis, and running.
Meet Kara:
My name is Kara. I started working at Agency Yu in March 2017. I graduated from the University of Houston in 2013. I am a proud dog mom of a French bulldog named Chapo. I am a huge Disney World fan. When I am not in the office, you can catch me planning my next Disney vacation!
Meet Selena:
My name is Selena. I joined the Agency Yu team in July 2021. In my free time I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, and trying new restaurants around the city. I have two black labs, named Lady and Chief.
Meet Chapo:
My name is Chapo. I will be the first one to greet you when you visit Agency Yu! I’m a little Frenchie with a big personality. I joined Agency Yu in November 2020. I love belly rubs, car rides, fetch and any toy that squeaks. I work with my hoomans Moday-Friday. I am furiendly and would love to play with you!
